What Happens at Your
First Visit.
Your first appointment at Nurture Family Chiropractic is designed to be thorough, unhurried, and completely tailored to you (or your child). We want to understand your full health picture before we recommend anything. You'll be cared for by Dr. Emily Keefer or Dr. Bailee Schultz, who bring advanced prenatal and pediatric training to every visit.
Here's what to expect:
Consultation & Health History — We'll sit down and talk. You'll share what brought you in, your health history, your goals, and any concerns. For kids, we'll ask about birth history, developmental milestones, and daily patterns like sleep, feeding, and behavior.
Comprehensive Examination — Your exam is specific to your needs:
-
For pregnant patients: Webster analysis, pelvic assessment, and postural evaluation
-
For infants and children: cranial evaluation, primitive reflex assessment, and gentle neurological screening
-
For adults: orthopedic testing, neurological evaluation, and spinal assessment
Everything is gentle. Nothing is rushed.

Understanding Your Care Plan.
After your examination, we'll walk you through our findings and explain exactly what we see, what it means, and what we recommend. You'll receive a personalized care plan with clear goals and a realistic timeline.
We believe you deserve to understand your own health. There are no surprises, no pressure, and no cookie-cutter plans.
