WE HAVE ANSWERS
Your questions, answered.
We hear the same questions all the time, especially from new mamas. Here are the most common ones. And if yours isn't here, just reach out.
Is chiropractic care safe during pregnancy?

Yes, and not just safe, but specifically beneficial during pregnancy. We are both Webster Technique Certified and Perinatal Certified through the ICPA, which means our entire approach is designed around the pregnant body. Our adjustments are gentle, specific, and completely safe for mama and baby at every stage of pregnancy.

Is chiropractic care safe for babies and newborns?
Absolutely. Pediatric chiropractic adjustments use no more pressure than you would use to check a ripe tomato, it is incredibly gentle and specifically adapted for a developing nervous system. We see babies as young as days old and the care is always safe, gentle, and specific.

What can I expect at my first visit?

Your first visit is never rushed. We start with a thorough consultation, your full health history, what you are experiencing, what you have already tried, and what your goals are. Then we do a complete assessment of the spine and nervous system and explain everything we find in plain English. You will leave your first visit knowing exactly what is going on and what the plan is to address it.

Do you do the popping and cracking kind of adjustments?
We tailor every adjustment to the patient. For babies and children, there is no popping or cracking, it is gentle, hands-on work that most babies sleep right through. For pregnant mamas and adults, we use a variety of gentle, specific techniques that may or may not produce a sound, but either way are safe and effective.

How many visits will I need?
Frequency depends on your individual needs. Some patients benefit from weekly visits, while others come biweekly. We'll recommend a schedule based on your assessment.

Do you accept my insurance?

Our care is not dictated by insurance carriers, which means we are able to provide truly personalized care plans tailored to your needs, not billing codes. This benefits our patients as many of our patient's co-pays and deductibles were continually increasing, often exceeding our self-pay fees

Can I bring my other kids to my appointment
Absolutely, please do. Our office was built for real families. Kids can run around, babies can cry, toddlers can have moments. We are judgment-free and we love meeting your whole family. Bring everyone.

What is the Webster Technique?

The Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment designed to reduce sacral and pelvic misalignment during pregnancy. By balancing the pelvis and reducing tension in the surrounding muscles and ligaments, it supports the body's ability to adapt to the changes of pregnancy and can support optimal fetal positioning. Both of our providers are Webster Technique Certified.

What is Perinatal Certification?
Perinatal certification through the ICPA is the highest level of specialized training available for chiropractic care during pregnancy. It means our providers have dedicated themselves to deeply understanding the pregnant body, the hormonal changes, the biomechanical shifts, the nervous system demands, and knowing exactly how to support it safely and effectively at every stage.

My pediatrician told me to wait and see. Should I?
We hear this all the time, and we understand why that advice gets given. But when your baby is struggling with constipation, colic, torticollis, or sleep issues, waiting means more time passing while a root cause goes unaddressed. Come see us for an assessment. If we can help, we will tell you how. If there is something outside our scope, we will tell you that too. You deserve to know all your options.
