FAQ'S

01

What is Chiropractic?

Our nervous system controls every function in our body. It helps our body adapt to the daily physical, chemical, and emotional stressors that we experience. When the spine subluxates (or shifts), it can compromise the nervous system, interfering with the flow of information from the brain to the body and its ability to regulate, coordinate and heal. Over time, this leads to a downward spiral in physical comfort, emotional stability, and overall well-being. Rather than continually chasing symptoms, chiropractors focus on the neuro-spinal relationship, restoring normal function and allowing the body to do what it's supposed to do.

What Will My Initial Visit Look Like?

1. First off, before you even come in, I will email you the first visit paperwork so you can fill it out at your leisure in the comfort of your own home. Your time is greatly valued.

2. I will thoroughly review your health history with regards to your current and past health challenges, if any.

3. I will perform a comprehensive orthopedic and neurological examination to evaluate the function of your body and nervous system so we can find the root cause of your challenges. For pregnant mamas, this will also include a complete Webster analysis. For kiddos this will also include a cranial and primitive reflex evaluation.

4. I will thoroughly explain my findings and educate you about your body, and what I do to help you feel better and improve your health.

5. I provide an opportunity to review questions you may have and set health goals you and your family are striving to achieve.

6. Lastly, you will be adjusted and given recommendations specifically for what your body needs.

7. I am very thorough, so you can plan for your initial visit to take up to 1 hour.

I have a full toolbox and utilize a variety of techniques that are safe, gentle and effective for the whole family. Techniques include: Thompson Drop, Activator, Sustained Contact, Webster and Diversified.

What Will My Follow-up Visits Look Like?

You will receive continued chiropractic care that is aligned to reach you and your family's goal for long-term health and wellness. This includes being adjusted and manual muscle work, cranial work, therapeutic exercises, primitive reflex integration exercises, taping, or nutrition counseling as needed. You can plan for follow-up visits to take around 20-30 minutes.

My office focuses on correcting, stabilizing and maintaining the normal function of the spine and nervous system to improve overall health and well-being, long-term. Together we will get to the root cause of your challenges, not just chase your symptoms.

Do You Take My Insurance?

Enjoy the FREEDOM from insurance dictation. My care is not influenced by insurance carriers, allowing truly personalized care plans tailored to your needs, and created by an expert in nervous system and spinal health, not billing codes. I pride myself on not being willing to compromise exceptional care by not having to comply with restrictions set forth by insurance companies. You DESERVE better healthcare!

If you have out-of-network benefits with your insurance company, I will gladly provide you with a superbill following your appointment, upon request. You may then submit this receipt to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

05

What Type of Payment Methods Do You Accept?

I accept cash, HSA, FSA, Apple Pay, and/or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express). The majority of my patients take advantage of using their HSA and FSA benefits. Payments are expected at the time of service.

What Is Your Cancellation/No-show Policy?

When you book an appointment with me, that time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in my day that could have been filled by another patient seeking treatment. As such, I request 2 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who miss their appointment without any prior notice given to the clinic will be charged a no-show fee that is 50% of the total services scheduled.

THIS IS MORE THAN A FINANCIAL INVESTMENT, IT IS AN INVESTMENT IN YOUR FAMILIES HEALTH THAT CAN HAVE TREMENDOUS IMPACTS ON YOUR QUALITY OF LIFE!
